Concrete Show South America gives a warm welcome to 2012

With a positive outlook for the civil construction sector in 2012, the event will add content and solutions for the concrete production chain. More than 85% of the exhibition is already sold.

Concrete Show South America, the biggest and most complete event in solutions for the concrete and civil construction production chain in Latin America, is embarking on 2012 with great hopes for the expansion of civil construction expected for the year and for the growth of the Brazilian economy. Development, growth in the number of projects, sustainability and technological innovation are some of the predictions for this year, according to specialists.

Concrete Show 2012 - 85% sold!

We are 8 months from the next edition and more than 85% of the available spaces for 2012 have already been filled. A very impressive  speed of occupancy reveals a strong and consolidated event in the marketing.  In its 6th edition, Concrete Show South America is globally recognized as the largest and the most crucial internacional meeting point for the concrete and civil construction supply chain in Latin America.

Concrete Show South America takes in 24,890 visitors in 2011– 13% more than the previous edition

The 5th edition of Concrete Show South America, an event held between 31st August and 2nd September at the Imigrantes Exhibition Center, in São Paulo, achieved a new record level of visitor numbers. In just three days, it took in 24,890 professionals from all over Brazil and neighboring countries. It is estimated that close to R$800 million in new business was generated by the exhibition.

In just 5 years, it´s growth figures in terms of exhibiion space are 342%

Close to 60,000m² in total of exhibition space, encompassing more than 20 different areas

 

Brazil is the investment opportunity for the future

Brazil´s Government Development Bank estimates that between 2012 and 2013 the country will receive R$274 billion reais (US$161 billion) in investments (both national and foreign) in infrastructure. The country will be thrust into the internacional limelight with the upcoming World Cup 2014 and Olympics in 2016. On the World Cup alone, the government plans to invest around US$ 15 billion.
